You must advise us of your apology by 5:00 pm Thursday 20 November 2026. 

Yes, the Chair and the Board will be in attendance. Directors invite you join them for light refreshments following the formal proceedings.  

Important change to distribution of meeting documents. 

Members are advised that since 1 April 2022, there have been permanent amendments to the Corporations Act which enable dispatch of electronic communications for Annual General Meetings (AGM).

Pursuant to this amendment, the 2026 National Trust of Australia (Victoria) Notice of AGM, supporting papers and proxy forms will be distributed electronically and available on our website from Wednesday 4 November 2026.

All members who have previously registered an email with the NTV will be sent an electronic copy. 

By law, members may make a standing or an ad hoc election (whether or not in writing) to receive the Annual Report: 

1. in physical form (hard copy) or
2. in electronic form (by email)

Members may also request that they not be sent the Annual Report including financial information. 

We encourage members to update their contact information and confirm if and how they wish to receive the Annual Report HERE

There is no virtual element to the AGM for 2026. The AGM will be held in person only.

Members will be advised should any changes need to be made to the meeting location or date.  

This process is performed the same as previous years. Please print and return or email.   

Proxy forms will be distributed electronically and available on our website from Wednesday 4 November 2026.

If you intend to appoint a proxy, such as the Chairman, to be effective, you must return your proxy form no later than 11.00am on Friday 20 November 2026 to the following address: National Trust Victoria, 6 Parliament Place, East Melbourne, VIC, 3002; or email the form to rsvp@nattrust.com.au

We are happy to send you a new electronic or hard copy of the proxy form, which you are welcome to complete digitally and return via email to membership@nattrust.com.au, or print and return via post to: National Trust Victoria, 6 Parliament Place, East Melbourne, VIC, 3002.

To be eligible, your proxy form must be returned to the Office of the National Trust of Australia Victoria by 11.00 am on Friday 20 November 2026. 

Please note we will only officially record one proxy form from your membership number, please let us know if you have already sent one in, and/or if it has been filled out incorrectly.

The property will be open from 10:00 am for Members to arrive.

We ask that you please arrive with enough time to be seated ready for the meeting to formally commence at 11:00 am.  

This year we are providing members with access to a digital copy of the Annual Report. The 2025-26 Annual Report will be sent to members and published online following formal approval from the NTV Board.

The Old Magistrates Court is located at the corner or Russell Street and Latrobe Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.
Entry is via Russell Street.

The Old Magistrates Court is conveniently located in the CBD, making it easily accessible by public transport.

• BY TRAIN
  It is a 5 minute walk from State Library Station and Melbourne Central Station.
• BY TRAM
  Catch the Route 30 or 35 (city circle) trams to Stop 8 Exhibition St, on La Trobe Street between Exhibition and Russell Streets. This stop is within the Free Tram Zone.
• BY BIKE
  There are separated bike lanes on Swanston and La Trobe streets. You’ll find bike racks on and near the corner of Swanston and La Trobe streets, Swanston and Little Lonsdale streets.
• BY CAR
  There is no on-site parking but there is paid street parking on La Trobe Street and several car parks close by including Melbourne Central and QV. There are three parking spaces for people with a disability permit in La Trobe Street.
